I was an omnivore and then a flexitarian. I gradually increased meatless meals over several years and currently eating a pesca-vegetarian diet. I still consider myself a flexitarian, though, because I would probably be comfortable eating meat again if I knew where it came from and how it was produced. I also try to eat mostly local. Great post!

Nice! I'm a combo of omnivore, Lacto-Ovo vegetarian and a little raw. I know, it's a mix of everything. :)

Hi Anna, actually that's a minimum requirement by some people. In the book Flexitarian the minimum is considered two meals per week. And yup, that's pretty easy, one night of pasta and one night of pizza would cover a whole bunch of people. The idea is to consciously choose healthy, non-meat options. Hope that clarifies a bit.

First I was an omnivore, then two and a half months ago I became a pescetarian (pesca-vegetarian), then one and a half months ago I became a lacto-ovo vegetarian. With just a little locavore mixed in.

I love my new diet so much and I haven't had a second thought. And my running has improved so much.

So when people say they're "vegetarian," which type do you think they're referring to?

Great post!
