Okay, this one grossed me out. A large White Castle chocolate milk shake, noted as the Louisville version, is a whopping 1,680 calories! For some reason they make them a little different in Kentucky because the New Jersey region shake was “only” 1,230 calories.
Yikes!
So if you go to a fast food joint and order a shake along with your fries and burger be prepared to stop eating for the next few days. Three White Castle sliders, a side of fries, and milk shake will set you back about 2,200 calories. That’s at least 500 calories more than what I eat in a day. And it’s nothing but fat, sugar, and starches. Ick.
Are you licking your chops or shaking your head? How do we get the concept of moderation out to Americans? Is it ever okay to eat this kind of a meal?
What do you think?

good Lord!
that explains soooooooooo much
think about how many people eat breakfast, snack, then go there for lunch, then snack, then dinner at home, then snack!
WOW!
Kinda scary isn’t it? I don’t think anyone, if you asked them on the street would guess it was that many calories. How could you?
yea there’s no way but then it’s like most restaurants people don’t realize how many calories are in it… look at cheesecake factory and their insane ‘meals’ and the kids meals to boot… and then olive garden it’s just crazy! guess this is why I prefer making my own food and clean eating at that :)
lol.. A search on White Castle brought me here. Probably because I am in Louisville! Thanks for trying, but I am still craving them right now.
