I became friendly with Mike Davenport through Third Tribe Marketing. He entertains us regularly with his drawings and is great at boiling complex ideas down to simple statements. They strike you with that “Duh, of course!” reaction. He was kind enough to do a drawing for my blog. Thanks, Mike. :-)
I hope this makes you think a bit. Please share your thoughts on how to live in that sweet spot.

Mike,
As usual, I love how you get to the heart of the matter here. Doing What I can to live in the “green zone”. :)

I love this – simple, easy to understand & the message hits home fast. Way to use your words economically!
My two observations:
I would stress the word “smart” in the phrase “smart exercise”. Life isn’t much improved if you try to rush yourself when you exercise and end up injured. I have plenty of experience. :-)
This diagram would work really well as a vicious circle. If you overeat and don’t exercise, you won’t tolerate stress. And because you tolerate stress poorly, you eat junk food and the last thing to cross your mind is exercise…
Satu and Jen, thanks so much for the message. I thought Mike was pretty brilliant :-) L–
