Organic is Actually Better For You!
We’ve all stood in the produce aisle looking at the “conventional” apple and the organic apple and asked ourselves is this really worth it? Well now there is a definitive answer.
I had snipped this tidbit from Prevention’s January issue.
A review of nearly 100 studies shows that the average levels of nearly a dozen nutrients are 25% higher in organic fruit, veggies and grains than in conventionally grown produce. In some studies, organic options had nearly 50% more of some antioxidants.
