		<description>Hey Karen, that would probably make a great blog post.  I even heard in England they&#039;re doing 8 might Power Plate dates ... where one half of a hopeful couple stands on the Power Plate and the other half asks them questions!  Thought that was pretty funny. 

I was very interested in the Power Plate and I&#039;ve been on it probably about 10 or 12 times.  I almost bought one for my studio, there have been several studies that show that it can be great for increasing bone density and I have a lot of osteoporosis in my Pilates studio. 

But what finally made me decide not to get one is when I asked a client, a doctor, what she thought about it.  She said, you really don&#039;t want to be vibrating soft tissue like that for an extended period of time.  Think about it, soft tissues includes things like your brains, eyeballs and your heart ... 

So I&#039;ve decided to wait and let the population be the &quot;guinea pigs&quot; before I invest in that type of technology.

But it was touted as doing more work in less time (i.e. cut your gym time by 30 minutes!).</description>
