I only endorse products if I believe in them, so when I received a trio of headbands from Violet Love the other day, I had my usual skepticism. Especially for headbands; I have really fine blonde hair and the bands I have tried previously either had so much rubber they hurt or so little staying power they slid off in minutes.
But the Violet Love hairbands stayed put with no headaches! I did my usual Spin cardio training and was doing jumps, sprints, etc., and nothing moved. I even did a quick jog around the block after Spinning and same thing, nothing moved. Yay! (Full disclosure: they sent me three headbands for free to try out.)
These come in a 2″ band that can be opened up, which gives you the flexibility to wear it as a hair accessory to keep your hair off your face or to absorb sweat and keep flyaways tamed.
Violet Love has a lot of funky patterns and some solids too. They also sell workout wear and pajamas. Honestly, the prints are a little too wild for me, but they are a West Coast brand and I’m sure they do well out there.
Have you had to battle flyaways or gagging on hair while running down a trail? What do you use to keep the hair off of your face?
Cheers,
Lisa

CUTE! I have wildly krazy hair, so I’m considering some headbands. Hmmmm
Oh boy more cool headbands! I have had the hardest time finding workout headbands until Bic Bands came along. You can never have too many headbands so these look very cool. Do you know if they are as thin as the Bondi Bands? I like headbands to be thicker than that.
Angie, these are a bit thicker :-)
If you get ‘em Kris, let me know. :)
