I was traveling through Montpelier, VT and happened upon the Coffee Corner Diner for lunch. It’s the kind of place you find in little towns (ok Montpelier is the capital of VT but it’s still a small town vibe) all over New England. The 2010 rankings are out for obesity in the US. The numbers are increasingly worse with only one area improving over last year, the home of Mrs. Obama, Washington, DC.
Despite top ranked TV shows, a strong push from Michelle Obama and the US Government, Americans continue to slide deeper into obesity. All states continued to pack on the pounds. Only the District of Columbia improved. (Maybe Mrs. Obama is having an impact afterall.)

Cleveland fans watched a dream slip away last night. Actually, they watched it literally get up and walk out the door. It hurt. Instead of going philosophical some of them went on the war path.
