biceps-w-dumbellsThe E3 gaming convention is one of the biggest geek fests on the planet.  The geeks, however, have discovered that everyone needs fitness and there has been some great technology coming out the past few years.  The  Bodybugg, Wii Fit and now a new product called Your Shape.

The product is designed for the Wii and comes with a camera which scans your body and then helps select programs for you.  You can choose different categories such as slim, strengthen or tone and also input how much time you have for the workout.  The program actually projects your image onto your TV to give you feedback on form and to help keep you motivated.  At the end of your session you’ll get a recap of your workout including calories burned.

This is a pretty revolutionary product and I can’t wait to get my hands on it but I’ll have to wait until the holiday season!  Check it out here.

  • These new high-tech fitness tools are interesting, but I really think they’re unnecessary. The people who buy them will be the same people who bought that electronic ab stimulator, the Ab Rocket, and all these other products that are probably now gathering cobwebs. There’s such a temptation to think “this will finally be the product that gets me in shape,” but the only thing that will do it is making a decision and committing to it. Nothing high-tech required.
