30 Day Challenge: Day 4

Today's theme is "get your groove on."  Yup, we're moving, we're shaking, we're getting stuff done. Three days under your belt.  How have you done?  Are you flush with early success?  Worried about slipping?  Facing challenges with aplomb or barely squeaking in your commitment? Remember, this is for you.  To be healthier, happier, and to be more available for your friends and your family. We are more likely to slip when we are complacent then to walk away in disgust.  Be careful of those days that sneak away on you and cause you to postpone your plans for yourself.     I did not manage to get meditation in yesterday. I kept getting distracted by my to do list. Today it’ll definitely happen. I’m annoyed at myself!

    I managed to sneak a quick trip to the gym. Today I’m going to double my 30 minute goal and go for an hour long walk!

    I had one of those 16 hr days yesterday…. But today I’m seeing my trainer – squeezing one in before our big Earth Day Food & Wine Festival on Saturday – so I’m counting it….

    I got my challenge of 100 push ups done this morning, exceeded that again too …. whoppeee I make sure to start my challenge early in morning so I don’t get caught up in the day. Today’s was easy for me since part of it was done during another challenge of mine. http://www.taraburner.com/health-wellness/day-4-of-revabs-day-4-of-30-day-challenge.php combined both challenges :)

    I don’t think I posted yesterday, but don’t worry–I didn’t slack off! Family coming in town tomorrow, meetings today, so not much time to post–but it did steer my lunch meeting selection toward a salad, even though it was 35 degrees and pouring out today! :( Where is spring???!?!

    In any case, I’ve gotten at least 5 fruits and veggies every day so far! Let’s hope I can continue with family in town over the weekend. I’ll start off tomorrow with a few clementines before I do the pickup! :)

    Brooke, that’s excellent, glad you’re 30 days is starting off with a bang. Don’t forget to plan ahead with the family in town. It’s easy to get derailed.
