We’re starting to see the halfway point. We’re about to close out two weeks of work. Conventional wisdom used to say it takes three weeks to form a habit and we’re almost two-thirds of the way there.
If you’ve been doing your daily activity then it should be getting easier now. If you’ve been haphazard though how can you make it more likely to accomplish?
Remember when I asked you back on Day One to write down what to tell yourself when you were flagging? What was that thing? What were those words of wisdom that you need to hear right now?
Feel free to Google your goal to look for more reasons for all the positives. For instance, Google “five servings of veggies” and what do you get back, or “daily 30 minutes of exercise.” Sometimes looking outside our own heads for assistance can help a lot too.
Of course journaling is one of the most powerful ways to change a habit. Write down what you’re doing and it’ll definitely help you stick to the changes. That’s one of the reasons we’re doing these daily posts. You can journal right here in the comments section.
Let me know how you’re doing!
